I play a villain but it's difficult to get CR going for him.

I have to tag out a lot, approach everyone for plotting and when I post something on CR memes or anything it gets ignored. And I don't mind reaching out at all and I understand that CR with a villain is not what most people want. But I had expected it to be less difficult.

Who do you play? Because there are a few specific villains I can think of I avoid CR with because they're not written well.

i can think of one who does not write their "villain" much like a villain at all.

god i was judging that greed just based off their awful icons, guess it only makes sense their actual writing is bad too

the soundwave with the little girl avatar creeps me out, actually. is that like...canon? i don't know enough about transformers to know if it's just unfortunate canon or like. what.

they're a thing and can run the gamut of female avatars to babies to old men but they're usually like... kind of reflective of the bots personalities? megatron picks a holo that's a retired boomer man that looks like a super-villain. tailgate, a naive bot that needs to be liked, picks a baby. bumblebee picks a sassy hispanic lady, and so on.

soundwave picking a young woman/girl isn't completely out there but imo considering the nature of this game a better pick could have been made at the player's discretion, especially since the holo's purpose is to blend with the natives better. slap some cat ears on her or whatever and, yeah, still neckbeardy but a better fit because at least now she looks more like a prismal. or tbh just omit the avatar entirely.

you're going to be arguing personal tastes over this point though, so. shrugs.

I’m confused as to why that was let in with such an inappropriate and OOC appearance.

because they're harmless. but if that player is wondering why it's so hard to get cr... it ain't because soundwave is a villain
