Rundown:
rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.
Rules:
Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-17 04:43 am (UTC)(link)But dry shampoo is really good for a lot of stuff! But, most people use it wrong. You should really only wash your hair 1-2 times a week to keep your natural oils, especially if it's puffy or whispy like you're probably describing. After washing it, put a little dry shampoo at the roots of your hair, section by section, after you've dried it/let it air dry. Too many people put it on when their hair is already greasy like it'll wash it, and then complain about build up. Dry shampoo is about preventing more dirt, it's an oil/grease eater, not a cleanser.
I'd recommend getting some shampoo 3/deep cleansing shampoo and use it about once a week with minimal conditioner (only at the ends, and not at all if your hair is shorter than your nape) and apply the dry shampoo after letting it air dry. Because it's wispy, I'd say don't use a hair drier or heat on it to dry it without using some kind of static reducing product. If you have color treated or lightened hair don't use shampoo 3 because it'll wash the color out but there's alternatives for colored hair like "diamond" gloss shampoos and stuff with smoothers, I'd recommend Matrix and Paul Mitchell because those are the brands I used in school and now at work but CHI is my favorite brand for dry shampoo because it smells really good and doesn't leave any kind of build up as long as you don't over do it.
A lot of this might be jargon so just lmk if you don't understand haha.

(Anonymous) 2019-05-19 04:39 pm (UTC)(link)just wanted to add that the key here is to use the dry shampoo near your scalp -- not ON your scalp. putting the product onto your scalp can cause irritation/dandruff. make sure that stuff's going onto your hair. 😆 i know tooooo many people who complain to me that it gives them itchy scalp or dandruff and when i have the demonstrate how they apply it, it's like watching someone shake salt onto french fries.
