Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

sorry to be blunt, but that's the majority of rp "friendships". always keep people at arm's length unless they prove they're in it for more than a ship (as in continuing to talk to you even after you stop rping.)

RP friendships are a lot like work friendships. Sometimes they turn into more, but that's by far the exception rather than the rule.

I get it op. I made the mistake of thinking a fellow RPer was my friend. We talked about stuff other than RP often. Then one day they said they don't think it's possible to make a friend through the internet. Now I wait to give out the friend label to people on dwrp.
