to be fair, when negative things are said about certain characters in this franchise, you guys go fucking ballistic, like implying x isn't the best waifu or hey maybe y did do some things wrong or z could've been written better in places

fate has some of the most fanatical whiteknights of any fandom ever and it's downright scary to see in action

what do you mean "you guys"? the only people that got assblasted here were the ones that were offended people thought brave liz's costume was trashy, who is exactly what my comment was talking about when i mentioned people who take up the "JUST DELETE THE GAME IF UR SO OFFENDED" approach.

That's because whether you hate her or love her or don't give a shit there's absolutely nothing left to discuss about her because F/SN came out fifteen fucking years ago.

tbf applies also to pretty much everyone from the game aside from (maybe) Gil, Saber, Medea, Hassan, and Cu. And even then that's only because alternate versions, more lore, or Servants from the same source as those have been released within the past five years.

that sounds like it might be the case. i do love the character, but there's nothing new to have discourse about, so if it does happen, i guess my eyes gloss over an i just keep scrolling and it's like it never even happened.

i remember that thread on wg and the argument wasn't over the fact they didn't use mash, but that they called mash a useless unit in general gameplay wise.

this fandom argues over gameplay meta all the time, so, not sure what they expected when they make a post like that.

You definitely needed more than just 'destroy everything in sight' for high difficulty stuff, but people were also insisting that you needed Mash for Nerofes. Which is blatantly untrue.

guess it's still true what i said in that thread that there's no One True Strat in this game and getting that deeply mad about how other people play a game with zero PVP elements is the most useless waste of energy imaginable in this fandom.

i'm actually cool with people disagreeing with me. you seem to be really mis-remembering how that thread went down.

it's not that i was offended people thought brave liz's costume was trashy but the fact that they couldn't seem to wrap their heads around that it was a reference to dragon quest although done in a gross pandering way

but tbh i don't have as much as a problem with liz's costumes, probably because i ignore her if possible because i really dislike her and don't see anything funny or endearing about her.

on the other hand, i'm much more uncomfortable with the characters that are childlike physically and mentally but presented in a very sexualized way, like jack, abigail, and kuro (although i guess people could argue that kuro isn't childlike mentally at all, but her character is a trope i hate a lot so i'm including her with them). it's why i roll my eyes at characters like wu zetian and shuten douji, because while their design is blatantly sexual and pandering, at least they're mentally adults.

zero people were having trouble understanding it was a reference, anon. i think you're referencing a different argument.
