I can be slow sometimes but if you told me I was I'd gladly try to prioritize. A lot of people seem to be 'intentionally' slow by which I mean they can't keep up with one character in the game but still play a few and are in a few games. I don't mean a tag every day or so either I mean unreliable and slow always and they wouldn't be quite so bad if they weren't playing so many. I just want to know how they get meaningful CR at their speed.

The fastest and most 'reliable' are some of the worst who give the least. I'd suggest looking around and find someone who gives tags your like and try from there. It's worked for me. A word of caution to avoid mod characters and most of their canons and friends in those canons. They're the worst offenders.

Just that they're a clique which doesn't make it okay but it's also typical in DWRP. So avoid them if you don't want to deal with dropped threads and obvious thread bias.

It's very clear that some people are only interested in playing with each other. Hard not to notice when your threads get dropped or tagged back at the speed of a snail stuck in frozen molasses while castmate threads are getting rapidfire tags.

this actually makes me a little sad, because I am pretty sure I know which sets of people you're talking about/which casts and it bums me out that others have dealt with this like I have.

Like for me it's gotten so bad that I'm actually in one of the "casts" and I feel like my character has been adopted somewhere else because at least this other cast wants to tag me.

It's been a while since I was in the game, but it makes me sad to see the clique issue is still as much of a problem as it was when I was there. I'm sorry you're dealing with that, anon! I'm glad that you've found other people to play with, though.

I'm in a cast and I actively try to tag new people :( I have to pace myself with my social butterfly character because I'll too easily get overwhelmed, but on events and when I remember to check the post/log comms I try to find new people to tag. My character is friendly and it would be ooc to have them not want to meet new people tbh.

I'm on the slower side of tagging but I will absolutely tag back anyone who tags me. My browser is like, a million rp tabs lmao and I go through them with no biases: just start at the first open one and move through them. If i get a tag back while I'm on that character's journal I'll reply but if not it waits until I'm either finished with my initial round or until I'm back on that journal.

I'm sorry this is happening to you and the ayrt, I'll be looking for new people to tag during some of the big mingle logs I've seen in the works and I hope I tag the both of you!

if you're one of the slow ones who still has multiple characters and is in a few games please slow your roll because it's really unfair to people you thread with and there are multiple people who do this so they ARE cliquey even if they think they aren't.

oh yeah, i'm not expecting tags every single day because i can't always tag every day myself and i know that life happens and sometimes you come home from work and stare at your inbox and then go watch cat videos on youtube instead. but when it's consistently 4+ days between tags, it makes it impossible to build cr or have threads go anywhere. i don't mind that happening occasionally but i don't want half my cr to consist of me pming people to ask how a thread went because we never got more than six tags in. when that happens in a first thread it makes it really awkward to try to tag that character again because i have no idea how my character feels about theirs or how their interactions are likely to go.

i could buy it being summer vacations and hiatuses if i hadn't tagged some of these people a couple of times in different months and gotten the same response. it's just really frustrating.
