I vastly prefer to see OCs that are more normal than the whole angel or demon or whatever stuff. (No more Doves, mostly.)

it seems that the game has a lot of "here's my oc, she's from modern earth and she's a demon/werewolf/vampire/selkie/etc." less urban fantasy/supernatural type ocs would probably get a better reception.

so what kind of oc would fit? because those are all canon types as well. what you're essentially saying is that you don't like that genre and think the game's oversaturated in general. so what type of oc would you like to see, other than what types you wouldn't? because 'i don't like chips, rly' doesn't help anyone if they want to actually try to make an oc that they feel would get a better reception.

no, i get what their issue is, but all the ocs that do this bring their own twist to the table

the problem is at a glance it's still "everythings the same but vampires/etc"

and lbr while that isn't the oc player's fault at all, a lot of folks are going to do the at a glance opinion and that's not everyone else's fault either
