Anorexia RP questions

My character canonically has anorexia. I've tried to research the topic as best I can and I've reread her source material a dozen times over the past couple of years, so I think I'm okay playing her eating disorder in a canon compliant way, as her source makes it clear it's very stress-related and about control/feeling clean after trauma in her past. I'm much more concerned with how to play her against people unfamiliar with her canon, since I'm aware a lot of stuff about eating disorders can be triggering.

The problem I have is how to properly do content warnings for threads with her when it's canon that she gets random, intrusive thoughts about her eating disorder? Do I dial back mentioning any of those thoughts in her internal reactions to things for the sake of not risking putting triggering content in her tags? Would noting in tags that she's not eating in in-game scenarios where other people are be drawing too much attention to it or would it be pertinent to mention since it's a daily struggle for her? I've seen people do content warnings in their comment titles for self-harm and suicide - should I do that for mentions/discussions of eating disorders, as well?

so i'm looking to play either a one-off or a longer psl where a boy (about 16/17, could be 18) is close family friends with a girl a few years younger than him (thinking anywhere from 13-15, could be willing to go as young as 12). they've basically grown up together and are much like siblings; he dotes on her, spoils her, the whole deal.

recently he's noticed she's looking awfully pretty. she's starting to change, filling out a little, but he's not about to act on that view of her--she's still very much like a sweet baby sister to him, and he does a good job of keeping those feelings in check. little does he know that she's starting to develop an interest in sex and romance...until she climbs into bed with him one night during an otherwise normal stayover and things end up escalating between them.

i'll be playing the boy! as for mediums, i tend to prefer animanga and videogames, but feel free to run anything non-LA by me for this if you'd like. OCs are welcome too. c: leave a sock if interested!

(also, just as a heads up: the character i'll be playing is a danganronpa V3 character. the english localization came out pretty recently, so even if he'll be AU'd in this, i figured i'd mention it for anyone wanting to keep a stringent avoidance of spoilers. cheers!)

depends on the tone and subject probably? it's almost never okay or at least is always over the top to ask about it for like bad things like shit talk. i had a castmate once who interrogated everyone else in cast for an anoncomm comment about someone finding them ooc. that would be a not okay example.

on the other hand one of my friends noticed a comment i made about a book series not a lot of people are into and asked about that and i would say that example is okay?

This is a true story of something that happened just a few years ago at USC. There was a professor of philosophy there who was a deeply committed atheist. His primary goal for one required class was to spend the entire semester attempting to prove that God couldn't exist. His students were always afraid to argue with him because of his impeccable logic. For twenty years, he had taught this class and no one had ever had the courage to go against him. Sure, some had argued in class at times, but no one had ever 'really gone against him' (you'll see what I mean later).
Nobody would go against him because he had a reputation. At the end of every semester, on the last day, he would say to his class of 300 students, "If there anyone here who still believes in Jesus, stand up!" In twenty years, no one had ever stood up. They knew what he was going to do next. He would say, "because anyone who does believe in God is a fool. If God existed, he could stop this piece of chalk from hitting the ground and breaking. Such a simple task to prove that he is God, and yet he can't do it." And every year, he would drop the chalk onto the tile floor of the classroom and it would shatter into a hundred pieces. The students could do nothing but stop and stare. Most of the students were convinced that God couldn't exist. Certainly, a number of Christians had slipped through, but for 20 years, they had been too afraid to stand up.

Well, a few years ago, there was a freshman who happened to get enrolled in the class. He was a Christian, and had heard the stories about this professor. He had to take the class because it was one of the required classes for his major and he was afraid. But for 3 months that semester, he prayed every morning that he would have the courage to stand up no matter what the professor said or what the class thought. Nothing they said or did could ever shatter his faith, he hoped.

Finally the day came. The professor said, "If there is anyone here who still believes in God, stand up!" The professor and the class of 300 people looked at him, shocked, as he stood up at the back of the classroom. The professor shouted, "You FOOL!! If God existed, he could keep this piece of chalk from breaking when it hit the ground!" He proceeded to drop the chalk, but as he did, it slipped out of his fingers, off his shirt cuff, onto the pleats of his pants, down his leg, and off his shoe. As it hit the ground, it simply rolled away, unbroken.

The professor's jaw dropped as he stared at the chalk. He looked up at the young man and then ran out of the lecture hall. The young man who had stood up proceeded to walk to the front of the room and share his faith in Jesus for the next half hour. 300 students stayed and listened as he told of God's love for them and of his power through Jesus.
