seeking fan art / doujinshi icon commisions

hello! does anyone know of any icon makers that take commissions for colored fan art and doujinshi icons? i'd mostly be looking for fan art right now since my scanner's on the fritz, but i'd come back later for more when it actually will scan things straight and in decent quality!

i can't afford any of the people i've seen who do like $1.50+ an icon though....

wait idgi, by fanart icons do you mean you want them to icon other people's fanart, or do you want them to draw their own fanart, from scratch, for less than a buck and a half each? bc boy i sure hope you don't mean the latter

It sounds like they want someone to color the icons though and I've never seen that for less than a buck these days per icon

i'd offer to do icons for you if my coloring skills weren't so terrible, sorry anon. :( but try hitting up windroars? i've commissioned them for colored doujinshi icons before. they're $1 per icon.

that's honestly pretty expensive, especially for someone who wants to do at 15 or more set when a lot of people offer normal coloring for .25-.50

i'd recommend beech if they're open. i haven't seen them around and they were a bit on the slow side, but affordable, consistent, and nice colors.

anyone who prices their coloring at below a dollar per icon is seriously underselling themselves. coloring icons (well) is time consuming and requires some modicum of understanding of how light and shadow work.

it's one thing if they're just flats with nothing to them, but shading and color adjustments shouldn't be below a dollar per each icon.

But I forget that dwrp is entitled and thinks artists should price things at the lowest possible point just because it's pixels on a screen.
