Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

This would never work, so it's more just idle thinking, but I've been considering how an AU game set in the Saber Marionette universe would work. Male characters would be humans on a planet where all humans are men and ate born through cloning. Female characters would be helper gynoids called marionettes, which are supposed to exist as slave labor and platonic companions (why did they go out of their way to build girlbots and then institute a social taboo against sex with them?). Marionettes are supposed to be automatons, but when the game first starts, they all mysteriously gain sentience.

Trans characters (mtf humans and ftm marionettes) would be allowed of they were either trans in canon, or male robots/androids in canon.

It would never work out because obscure 90s anime is obscure, the premise is honestly kind of sexist (I just like the worldbuilding, shoddy as it is), and RP has a character gender imbalance in favor of men.
