Rundown: rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Oh damn. I might not have the time for it if that's the case. I can tag regularly and can boomerang tag at times, but I can't always promise specific time commitments for that. I may be a pretty bad fit for the game :( Thanks for the suggestion though

they're not running another intensive event like that for a while though & player feedback on the event seemed to lean heavily toward 'that pace was too much' so tbh i would not expect to have to keep up with that particular pace. it's not representative of game events really.

it is however a p fast game in general like the other anon said- you can backtag and be fine but if you want to really stay on top of the game it might be hard. the intro network posts go very fast and event logs get a lot of comments. it's large enough you can definitely find people whose pace matches yours, but if you're worried about involvement you might find it difficult if you don't have much time.

Definitely not trying to discourage anyone because I love new people, but it's a very fast game. Mod posts regularly make 1000+ comments in on day on the network (the most recent one went over 2000 in a few hours) and it typically doesn't take too long for logs to get high either. Speedwise you do have to be willing to jump in when you have time and not worry about how much there is and think you're too late or you'll spend every event having a hard time.

I always prefer to have a really honest estimate of speeds when joining games - it sucks to be blindsided. I'd suggest keeping tabs on the mod posts this month and next month so you can see things in action speedwise yourself!

Definitely! I honestly appreciate how helpful and upfront everyone has been. It paints a great picture of the playerbase! Seeing as apps don't open for awhile I think I'll do just that, and see where I am in a couple of months. If I feel like I've got the time for a big game then I might just give it a shot anyway. Thanks to everyone who replied.
