This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

that we don't have any really active open places to just rp at. i know there's genessia but i'm not a huge fan of that there are more network posts than face-to-face posts. and there is still too much of a commitment involved for me to consider that place right now.

blame the www/sws/smuttysws crew. every time a new dressing room opened, they went in and took it over. if you weren't a part of their mcu/new york/la universe, they would freeze you out of it. and since they were the majority posting, you'd have a hard time trying to play around it. they treated each dressing room like an extension of their verse, wouldn't take it to a musebox/game, and made it incredibly difficult to enjoy something. and even trying to play with them, they refused to play multiple verses, so you played as a side to their shitty drama, or you didn't play at all.

that's what killed dressing rooms on dwrp. there was a shit ton of advice to 'play around them' and 'be the change', but all attempts got shat on. animes/video games got ignored, and any ocs/la canons that didn't meet their approval got dog piled. they'd send out the hyper aggressive players to go and start shit on someone's post and turn something pretty innocuous into an sjw soap box opportunity.

but we have had tried to open dressing rooms before but those met with the fate of flakes or mods trying to over complicate things.
