at least d.va has something though. yes, the memey gamer gremlin doritos mountain dew lol so meta shit is very tired, but she's got spunk and a bit of a bratty ego and partakes in a mecha robot war. there's stuff to work with.

mercy is a generic kind caring sweet motherly doctor who... does... something for overwatch. hospice work? her outfit is really stupid.

i'd much rather thread with a d.va than a boring-as-watching-paint-dry mercy.

i fucking love mercy both in game and out of it, but... i'm gonna be honest, i'm struggling to figure out how to find a way to breathe life into her in rp. there has to be SOME angle i could take to make her engaging... (and not the weird thirsty sexpot angle, that's so awkward to me.) by god, i'll find it one day.

For awhile I was writing fanfiction for this series, but then fandom started getting...fandom and now I can't even look at the stuff I made without going 'ughhhh'

Of course the character I really liked writing also got latched on by all the kin people on tumblr and basically every other worst kind of fandom person.

i really hope they'll add some special voice lines for him in his blackwatch reyes skin, but... i doubt it. :( unlike the other characters' special skins, the entire voice is different.
