Rundown:

rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. i started a casual thread with a partner i hadn't written with in nearly a year and a half and it's like pulling on a pair of really comfy jeans

It's not about you doing your tags. That's personal time management. What timezones effect is when your thread partners are around to respond. So even if you're threading with someone who boomerangs, you're looking at a potential day between your tag and theirs, and then again for you to tag back. Add to the mix thread partners who don't reply daily, or people who don't backtag (not a problem anymore, but I remember it from days on LJ) and being on an opposite timezone can seriously fuck with your chances of making AC. Or at least, it did before AC requirements were lowered.

pretty much. I'm GMT. I tag *most* days (not every single day because shift work sucks and sometimes you gotta prioritize sleep and seeing your partner or friends, but I'm a regular tagger nonetheless). but I'm just not around when my CR across the pond are.

or even my CR on my own side of the pond, thanks to work. hell is sitting around on your weekday off thirsty to tag, but everyone else is at work/school/asleep.

This is almost exactly my position, timezone and all, except I'm 9 to 5 and I can sometimes tag at work. It had made me manage my tagging time better, but it doesn't do shit when I know people in the same US timezones will be able to tag more consistently during the hours I'm asleep.

Hell to me is actually the weekends when I manage to clear my inbox and have free time to tag, but every fucker waits until Sunday night between 2am and 5am to slam my inbox and then is asleep by the time I'm awake to reply.

SO there's already a Ritsu in

recolle, and I was enabled to play Reigen there!

However, with the AU that was set up (Mob ran away from home and ended up adopted by Reigen), the fact that our previous planned Mob's plans fell through and they won't be apping has caused a bit of a conundrum! There's a two-month app cycle for Recolle, and if I apply with Reigen I can still write him as a father to a kid... but I literally can't name the kid in-game.

As you can tell, it's pretty unfeasible! So I'm hoping we can find someone to play Kageyama Shigeo in Recolle with us! Particularly if they're interested and willing to play a dynamic of father-son with Reigen and Mob!

it's a lot at once, but i've gotten some good threads out of the ic meme too so i am glad it was put up. it's not a bad way to quickly establish some cr (especially for new people) before moving on to event encounters or to set up an instant hookup.

i think people will probably be dividing their time more between them now that the initial rush is winding down.

They use that option because that is, most likely, the actual reason. But people in the West need a reason for some reason. It can never be as simple as "I just wanted the protag to be male."

So they have to come up with some reason and it's always some dumbass one because they never really had a definitive reason for it before. See: Final Fantasy XV.

They didn't have a reason aside from "this is the story we wanted to tell" when asked why they chose for an all male party. Then, they had to come up with a reason and it was equally as dumb and inane as the Persona one above.

Mostly peripheral characters from mainstream la canons. Mostly dudes, but still a few females, and pretty much only into het ships. I could play with castmates because they're super easy to find all over dwrp but I vastly prefer cross-canon. Not big on most anime, but la, vidya, and ocs are good with me. PM

are people actually building new cr off of that? i thought it was mostly there for established cr to mess around with each other.

I am interested in apping into the Star Wars cast but missed the cut off date. I don't know anyone in the cast though and wanted to hear how they are? I am considering someone from Rebels. How accepting are all the generations to the new cartoons? Is the cast cliqueish or very well spread out through other groups?

On another note, how is the Pandora Hearts cast? That would be where my sights are also set.
