As often as people claim that modding is a thankless job, there are still plenty of games, and plenty of mods and co-mods. So if you're a mod, or have modded:

1. What motivates you to create and run a game?
2. What keeps you inspired?
3. If you're not a mod now, would you do it again? If yes, under what circumstances? If no, why not?

Asked at the very end of the last post, but how welcoming is this game? The premise interests me, but I don't know any players here.

I've got Beth, Maggie, Lizzie Samuels, and theoretically others as well (Enid, Carl, Lori, Rick, Denise, Tara...). I'm interested in all kinds of stuff: plotty things, shippy things, sad things, fluffy things, AUs, conversations about the nature of morality during the end of the world, whatever. I can't go super violent, but otherwise, I'm pretty open. Cross-canon and canon CR are both v. welcome.

As far as shipping goes, I'm most interested in het and femslash. My preferred ships include Glenn/Maggie, Beth/Daryl, Enid/Carl, and Tara/Denise, but I'll ship just about anything once. I'd prefer to avoid ships that are likely to be especially dark or violent (e.g., Negan/Maggie and similar).

OK, anons, I have some extreme kink for you.

Gender preference is loosely f/m for most of these but I'm usually willing to play f/f or m/m as well, and mixing and matching parts is fine (futanari/dickgirls are extremely cute, A++). I like Tab A Goes In Slot B best for my porn but most of the time I don't care as much about the actual genders involved.

1. Xeno, aphrodisiacs, vore, probably dubious consent. An adventurer wakes up a sleeping beauty in some ruins; she turns out to be a monster who seduces and eats humans (or roughly humanoid species). She seduces them (with or without the help of magical aphrodisiacs) and eats them, with lots of affection and endearments the whole while. I'd be playing the monster. Bonus for a partner who regenerates or respawns such that they come back after being eaten (happy ending!). If you go with the respawn option this can be a longer-lasting PSL of some kind, but a one-shot is also fine.
2. Xeno, femdom, probable sizekink, possible dubious consent. A maiden sacrificed to a somewhat-more-humanoid-than-usual dragon (or other monster you'd sacrifice damsels to) is actually secretly a huge wannabe dragonfucker and talks the dragon into having sex with her instead of eating her (or uses some kind of aphrodisiac to accomplish this). She proceeds to dom the hell out of the dragon. I could play either damsel or dragon in this scenario; I'd prefer the dragon be male but I can swing a female or "dragons don't have human genders" one. Could be a one-shot or a longer PSL.
3. Incest, mama kink, possible xeno monstery stuff. A god, hero, or other superhuman adventurer of some kind goes to the underworld to rescue his mother who died giving birth to him, only to find that she's become the fearsome queen of the underworld and she's extremely thirsty--she's more interested in having sex with him than coming back to life. This one would be f/m, and probably a one-shot. I could play either character.

I'm willing to try nearly all kinks; my only hard nos are vomit, scat and related things like diapers and enemas (watersports are also not really my thing but I'm willing to give them a shot), and a certain degree of underage (generally if the character looks or blatantly acts younger than fifteen it's a no; sixteen and up is fine).

1. I only modded because the options were to step up or watch the game I loved close just as it was really getting good. I guess I wasn't so bad at it since I never caught wank.

2. There are some solid games out there with good players, and a handful of fundamentally unhappy bitches with agendas shouldn't be enough to destroy it all I guess. I like to have fun here, and I love to see players freaking out on plurk in a good way when the plots drop.

3. Sure, if a game I was super invested in needed a new modteam or a friend asked me to help.

real talk: it doesn't matter. people continue to drop, it's tumbleweeds for activity, and no, no one's going to app after all that bullshit went down. it won't "formally" close, but it will die.
