Sesuji wo Pin!

The other dancesport manga, since Ballroom e Yokoso was mentioned already.

It's got some really likeable characters and exciting dance scenes, despite or rather because of the fact that the protagonists aren't very good (and stay that way!) and are doing this just to have fun and maybe get a little more confident. It also captures that feeling of a niche thing where all participants know each other and are friends and/or rivals really well.

One of the characters looks a bit of a stereotypical borderline caricature but that's just the appearance, once you get to know him he is complex and actually really cool.

On creating and operating new games

I want to run a short-term game (8 weeks long with the potential to do new rounds if it gets a decent amount of interest) but I have no experience running a DWRP game. The mechanics I'm not having a problem with, but I just want to make sure it runs smoothly. Admittedly seeing the kinds of problems games have had recently or the interpersonal issues I've seen here are a bit daunting. (This isn't a murdergame either, more like a short-term transformation-themed game.)

If anyone had any tips on things they learned running short-term games, it would be fantastically helpful, thanks!

Baby Steps. It's a tennis anime, but is actual very down to earth in comparison to most of the sports anime out there (the main character isn't a prodigy overnight). It also has very nice, likable characters, and the relationship with his love interest is pretty refreshing.
