- writes decent tags. some mistakes are fine as long as the tags are emotional.

my opinion is that, unless they play a rare character or they tag a lot of castmates and just happen to tag every lance on top of that, they're not worth tagging. they can ship whatever you want, but they've made it very clear that they have priorities and i can't give them what they want most. it's just not worth playing second or third fiddle in memes.

i never start it myself and most of the time i'll condense if i'm playing against a person who's started it, but if i'm playing against a flake or a really slow tagger i just go with it so we can make as much progress as possible

Just Around the River Bend from Pocahontas. No idea why that sticks with me but I can sing it with disgusting gusto and it helps juice me up to look forward to new situations instead of being afraid of them.

I cut one or more lines. It annoys me when people don't get cues that oh hey this line of conversation is done, let's move to another one because this almost always happens when my character is changing the subject and it doesn't matter if I put in bracket text saying so, it often ends up being two lines of conversation.

Rotate every week, make sure you actively tag back. Minimum of 10 comments each thread. You'll make AC, you'll be vaguely caught up on what's up bc most people will be talking about the Current Happenings, and of course having set goals of when and where you're RPing takes the strain off of you.

You don't have to only RP in just that designated week, obviously. I just designate a week specifically for starting new threads and then reply to tags as I get them all month. I'm currently in two bigger games, a small slow game, and a couple of PSLs and I'm doing about 1000+ comments a month so I'm making AC all around just fine.

It does usually look dated but personally I used to color the lineart of the manga - like, give it a sepia tone or something, just to carry more of the visual tone the character is supposed to have.

Nowadays I have accounts with too many icon slots for me to actually do that but lmao I think it looks good usually.

my opinion is that they're looking for a steady, reliable version of their otp? just because they tag one or two doesn't mean those one or two click. hell, i've tagged a bunch of x's with my y because i'm looking for one who can finish a thread and who wants to play what i play. not every version of x is into it. not every version of x is active. not every version of x is a good x. not every version of x wants to play with my y, or even with a y at all.

it's likely they just want to find their x and haven't found 'theirs' yet.

Wow, that's amazing. Thank you anon! That's a really good advice. I often had problems, not in failing AC, but with staying up-to-date with the game happenings.

Having a definitive set goal of "start something here this week" might definitely help my usual focusing on one game too much, and neglecting the other.

outside castmate. if i played their shipping counterpart i'd just shut 'em down if i wasn't into it. no hard feelings unless they made it weird.

Also good idea to keep track of when your games do plots; if they aren't all on the same week, then you can make your designated thread starting week during all the events.

If they are all the same (which is usually the case ime) then keep event week open and just make sure you at least get your own starter in or tag at least two people you plot with.

I admit this has been my train of thoughts. That maybe it's just how it works for me. It usually does. But everyone in a while a new shiny appears, and it turns out, I can play that shiny in a different game...! Maybe giving in to the temptation is the bad decision, kek.

I've seen people filtering their inbox occasionally, but I've never figured out how to make it work. But it might be worth looking in, brb, gotta hunt a tutorial.

That's a dick move, but considering the number of shitty people in this game I shouldn't be surprised.

Anyone have any good sports anime recs that isn't one of the big ones like Haikyuu/Free/Yuri on ice? Nothing against those shows, I just want to try some other sports anime. Any older ones still hold up, or shows that are underrated? Looking for anything with good characters and relationships. The sport itself can be unrealistic per anime standards, so I'm not fussy about realism.

Depends, if I think the second line will wrap up quickly I go with it. Otherwise I try to write it so we're pursuing one of the lines of conversation or fold them together and move on that way. It's not a big deal. And I assume this is only in dialogue since it's fine to me to have multiple conversations at once in text.

Bit oldschool but have you tried Slam Dunk? If you count fishing as a sport, Grander Musashi was pretty amusing.
