This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. I've been having problems with Photoshop CS2 and it seems that, to fix it, I'd have to start disabling security updates. Which is pretty stupid if I wanna use a 12 year old piece of software.

What good alternatives are there? A friend's telling me just to grab a cracked version of CC 2015, but I'd be paranoid about malware and suchlike.

Well, the result to the players is the same. Mods have lives and I understand that, but the anon above you is correct in saying we could have been given prompts to keep threads from getting stale or same-y. It was a really long event with very little happening.

it was stuff we had already figured out for the most part but getting closure/confirmation was nice. same with the confirmation that it was a nuclear bomb that took out half the city - everybody knew that for months but seeing it go down is different.

basically the plot of "killing stalking", but with the serial killer as a woman. so, basically: guy has a serious longtime crush on a girl to the point that he's begun following her around and watching everything she does. he breaks into her home one day to creep around and sniff her clothing. but this stalking behavior doesn't seem so bad when he discovers the guy kidnapped and tied up in the basement. she arrives home, knocks him out, and kills her current victim to make her stalker her new prisoner. kinks would be dub/noncon turned stockholm syndrome, sadism, dominant female, all that stuff, with everything coloured by the fact that she could choose to kill him at any time if he pisses her off, although she seems to develop an affection for him eventually.

any mediums are okay. i have both OCs and canon characters available. i want to play the serial killer girl. PM me at sockurity. however, do not PM me if you are a known former or current wanker, because i know some of you frequently browse this thread. i don't want to play with you.

aside from some podcasts, writers, artists & online reviewers I follow,

@kalesalad - they retweet the original tweet of viral tweets so that the proper account can get traffic instead of just capping, removing the source, & reposting like a lot of popular 'funny' accounts do.
@ooc_yuri - out of context panels from yuri manga. occasionally not safe for work, usually hilarious.
@swear_trek - star trek gifs with cussin on them
@dog_rates - they're good dogs, brent
and so many bots that just post dog pictures. shout out to @samoyedbot, @corgsbot, @shibbnbot

why can the two list/helper mods not chime in with spooky stuff that isn't plot specific? it's one thing if they don't want to or are too busy to, sure. in that case, let the players come up with stuff. give the players some guidelines on how to make that event anything but "you wander through a white, boring hallway with people and make small talk and hope you're lucky enough to be picked for what amounts to plot"

there's a study going on that's finding the more you claim to need and want for someone to be like you on a show so you can relate to them (Gender, race, sexuality, ect.) The more egotistical, narcissistic, and the least emphatic and kind you are

Honestly, just disable security updates. Folks I know with pirate copies don't do updates as it is, including myself.

It's not exactly pirated, I got it off the Adobe website. I'd consider buying the current copy, but the idea of paying a monthly subscription to Adobe for that kind of thing is baffling to me.

Seems like a bad idea to disable security updates just to use an old program to me.

speaking as someone who was in her previous game i would venture to say people may be assuming she didn't let them because she has a history of doing so. she kept her plot cards close to her chest in tower of animus and i wouldn't be surprised to learn that her comods don't know what each event will entail until it gets posted in snowblind either.

I wish this was more common if people were actually so concerned about getting the 'best' characters or whatever. It's too late to handwring about letting in the bads into the game when standards only get attention because there was competition.
