that sounds fine, i wouldn't consider that thirsty at all. personally i think we all worry too much about seeming too eager - enthusiasm is not a bad thing, and neither is initiative! as long as you're not hounding somebody to play with you, you're good!

Some parents' choice to slack off on teaching their kids does not mean media is not a useful tool for educating your children.

Aside from that, journeys of personal growth make great stories for all ages, young and old. I don't know why it seems so many people are against the idea.

We have a ton of stories about falling in love. Did we really need another? Is the movie somehow incomplete for you because there was no loving embrace between Maui and Moana at the end? Does it bother anyone that Moana got a happy ending without a 'and the two of them lived happily ever after?'

Representation VS Stereotypes

In your opinion, what makes a character count as "good representation" and not a giant offensive stereotype?

Some ESL people struggle with English, some don't. Some Muslim women wear hijabs, some don't. Some Americans of Chinese heritage speak Chinese, some don't. Some African-Americans like basketball, some don't. Some Japanese people watch anime, some don't. Some Indians are Hindu, some aren't. Some gay men are effeminate, some aren't. Some people with mental illness have struggled with self-harm or suicide attempts, some haven't. Some Native Americans live on reservations, some don't. And so on...

Obviously things like "all Asians know kung fu" and "Middle Eastern people are terrorists" are very negative stereotypes, but...

...At what point does "a Latina with who has a slight accent, has a big family, lives in California/Texas/Florida (states with large Latino populations), watches telenovelas, likes spicy food, likes Ricky Martin, is catholic, etc etc." become a stereotype?

And at what point are they "not X enough" or "too whitewashed/Americanized"? I've seen plenty of people complain that "So-and-so might as well be white/het/cis/neurotypical!"

Wanted: someone that wants to play hideous oviposition kink with my insectoid alien woman, preferably a female character of any species, especially one with powers or otherwise above-average strength. The 2 character restriction is in place to ensure players have ample time to devote to activity for each character, removing the temptation to overextend oneself. A multiple system still has only 24 hours in a day with a single body, and it is therefore unnecessary to grant them an exception.

If you choose not to just prevent them from apping cause ain't nobody got time for that shit, anyway.

The easiest way? Don't just have one token character who is a member of a given group. No one character is going to be perfect representation all by themself because that would be ridiculous.

Stereotypes do exist for a reason and including some isn't a bad thing because they are indeed traits that do exist. The problem is when the stereotypes are the only characterization and the character themselves is very flat.
