yep! i collect (professionally cleaned) skulls, pelts and tails. it's definitely an expensive hobby, but i really like nature stuff and animal biology.

I'm 25, kind of a shut-in although I do like going to do things with the right people (I loooove dancing especially), a computer programmer making a pretty decent salary, and my hobbies besides RP mostly include other nerdy stuff like writing fanfic and playing video games and board games. I have a low sex drive (though it's certainly not off the table) and I hate french kissing. I'm also an introvert so I need a lot of alone time or I feel really tired.

Honestly I just want someone who's chill with the idea that we can be in each other's presence without having to constantly be all over each other. I've been with more than one person who couldn't stand it if my attention was anywhere other than them and it was exhausting. It was like I had to keep them entertained at every second. I'm totally cool with being all lovey-dovey but sometimes it's okay to just sit in the same room and do our own things, you know?

I like them in PSLs with friends or memes. I tend to hate them in games because they feel like the worst parts of a canon character (a pre-set personality, certain history notes you generally gotta hit) without the cool stuff (powers, world, canon CR with canon characters that can't exist because what if the other player doesn't want to do that?) that comes with them.

sounds good. i'll admit that i'm the fashionably late type, but it's usually because the people i hang out with are also slowish people, so showing up on time when it's not a big deal means i'm way early.

anon's got a few questions. hope someone can answer one or the other, or both. both is good too.

question the first: not sure if anyone's already asked this, but aside from dwrp what platforms for rp are popular these days?

question the second: how do you stop being a passive-aggressive shitbag? because anon is slowly dealing with the knowledge that they have been one. they do not like this knowledge and wish to change.

Do your tags. Frequently.

Formatting doesn't matter much, you can find some kind of agreement pretty easily. Characterization doesn't matter much, so long as you're close enough to IC that your character is recognizable from the tags. Tag length doesn't matter much, so long as it's enough to keep a thread going. Everyone has different tolerances for these things, but in general most people are pretty flexible on them.

But tag speed is the number one thing that with absolutely, positively, without a doubt kill a thread. You could be the most IC player ever, with the most amazing tags ever, and it won't mean jack shit if you don't actually do your tags. Most players will just end up dropping threads with you and moving on to something else.

You should be replying to threads at least once a day, if not more. I don't set an amount for myself beyond at least 'once a day', but it is not uncommon for me to tag back in a thread 5 or more times in a day if the person I am playing with is on and tagging me back. Ideally, if you are following this plan, you should be meeting your AC requirements within the first week of the month. And you don't stop there. Keep threading, keep doing your tags.

I find that keeping a small number of threads going at once (5-10 total at one time across 2 characters) and finishing them as quickly as possible keeps me active in my game. Are there slow periods? Yes, sometimes. But if I'm personally on top of my tags and get them done as soon as I get them, then the threads go faster and I accomplish more in a game, which in turn makes people tag me because they know I am active and will thread with them.

TL;DR the absolute best thing you can do to make yourself a good RPer is to do your tags.

no, that's just the popular assessment from people who just like to mock others on tumblr even though they're just as dumb.

the entire season was a trainwreck of loosely cobbled together plot, character arcs that go nowhere, stupidity, overblown ridiculousness, and villains that no one gave a single shit about. the last episode is just the most egregious example of it, that's all.

This is probably a long shot, but I've really wanted to play out chaos/Zenyatta for a long time. I'm open to chaos/Genji too, but chaos and Zenyatta is my first priority.

I'm good with Meme's and PSL's, and I'm mostly interested in hurt/comfort things, but I'm down for romance in the midst of action, scenarios full of philosophical bantering (since chaos would probably have a bit of fun with that), or most of anything else.

why do we have six co-mods when they do practically nothing? i've noticed the list mods do all the heavy lifting in this game and are always around, and when it's app time it

it takes forever. last few rounds had apps getting processed the following month, in fact. this game is THE sol game what do you need six co-mods for?
