just because you don't get free art doesn't mean your rp partners aren't enthusiastic about playing with you. it just means the people who are enthusiastic about playing with you don't necessarily have artistic talent.

to people who answered the thread about how many tags they write a day:

how much time do you tend to spend on writing tags a day? how much time do you spend on individual tags? how long are your usual tag lengths?

i have to wonder because my output is pathetically low compared to what most people who responded listed (but i do tend to write longer tags). i dunno if i overthink my tags too much or if i'm just a shitty slow writer, or if other people devote more time to rp than i do on a daily basis.

if you're pushing like 20 non-ecats tags on a SLOW day please share your tagging secrets cause that feels like an impossible target for me right now.

Seconding this. Tag out, tag around, I haven't seen anyone have their tags ignored by the active lot. People may not actively reach out as much due to tag load/etc but if there's an open prompt and you want to go for it do! The cliquishness has a lot to do with perception, the players are largely friendly.

I'm not tired of RP, I'm just not quick to come up with a reply. Your thinking is very black and white if you always equate being slow to being bored of something.

most of my threads are prose and i tag 1-3 paragraphs for each. i write about 10 replies a day, at a low estimate.

i guess i usually spend a combined hour or two hours throughout the day, tagging between doing work. i don't reply to tags immediately, so maybe having the time to think before tagging helps me formulate something before i actually write.

i'm an extremely slow rper who averages a tag every half hour to an hour and only does longform prose heavy threads, so.... i probably bang out about 15-35 tags a week, depending on how busy i am.

i also only do psls, cause i don't wanna inflict that on any games HAHA
