I don't want to have conversations with anyone. I'll here for the mutual and have no free time so what little time I have, I want to talk to them. Probably not me since I'm rarely on plurk but I honestly know a few people who do this.

if you're willing to write specific (possibly weird) kinks/otps then there's absolutely a market, possibly a huge one if you produce furry stuff

all fiction/art works like that tho. if you cater to a niche that doesn't see much content then the people involved will sometimes shell out big bucks for more of it

and i've done a ton of different kinds of smut threads there, too. the playerbase is really open to a wide variety of stuff.

wouldnt it be easier to deactivate your plurk account entirely and add only that one person to a chat like aim/skype/discord instead of having to block everyone and their mother multiple times on plurk?

Okay, this is a really dumb question but I've never really added anything pretty to journals before. They've always been pretty basic and that's been fine, but I want to make them look a little nicer. I've seen some really nice navigation page codes floating around but it's been forever since I've done any web design, so I'm a little lost.

Where exactly would I enter the code for that?

Up there in excellent canons that are well written, well acted, and a joy to watch, and that I am desperately trying to make people care about (see also: The Expanse)... but that I suffer in having little success. Although at least with this show I've got a few friends on board to enjoy the fandom with, even if no one is RPing from it. And it's still new. So I'll take it!

Anyways, looking to throw Todd Brotzman at people. Especially Dirk and Amanda, I'd be over the moon! But. I would be just as stoked for Farah. Or maaan, Estevez. I might honestly pick up Estevez at some point because he's great. They're all great though. Give me your Bart, Ken, Rowdies, or heck I'd even take a thread with the CIA tools. (;

I scouted up couple names once I knew I would be playing Todd for sure but I never settled on which I liked so if anyone is down to help me pick, even if you're just into the show but don't plan to RP from it, I wouldn't mind the help. Technically I guess this part should go under "Username Suggestions" but since I already came up with some I figured I'd keep it all contained for now? I can always make a post there later. Not going to lie, I also have an account for Amanda - just because you can't really get enough of the Brotzman siblings - but for now I'm mainly looking to play Todd... if anyone will have the tiny dumpster fire.

have you ever played a character with an active hatedom? how did it go over?

i've played a char that half the fandom hated and half loved. i think the part that bugged me the most was when someone who played from the same fandom as me and who knew i played that char/liked that char would plurk constantly about hating that char. i'd just mute the plurks and scroll on, but it still felt a bit dickish.

since i'm not really in fandom stuff, the hate didn't really bug me that much. it's really only a thing when it's someone you have to play with/against. most of the rest of my cr, even the negative cr, was fine with them, since i was ic with them and didn't woobify them. (they were a canon bad guy)

there was just the one person who couldn't stop drinking the haterade. which is their right and all. they don't have to love or like the same chars i do, but the plurks were just a bit annoying.

i've played characters largely hated by fandoms with little incident. i generally just avoid tagging out to characters who are associated with fandom wars involving mine without talking to them ooc beforehand, tag out to people who are canonblind or to people who say they'll give the character a fair chance ic, and include opt outs for people who don't want to get involved with a character they hate. i have yet to encounter any shit, personally, and like the anon above said, i ignore general fandom hate bc it doesn't involve my portrayal or my threads.

are they capable of consent? have they clearly expressed that they want to have sex with me and consented to the sex? assuming yes, i draw the line probably at the blob because i can't imagine being into that.

if they're incapable of consent (ie they have no control in their animal form or they are too alien to understand sex or whatever) hard pass.
