rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. As a web designer: this. I can't know my clients' user bases and their users don't sign my paychecks. I do what my client wants after giving my professional input for tweaks that'll make my client's vision more realistic and hopefully user-friendly. ...but I can only go by what my client shares with me, so if my client says their user base doesn't use or like x, y, z thing, I kinda have to take their word for it.

and, like, i'm not even saying it's one or the other, if you have the time and money to treat yourself to something unique or awesome, do so, but when we're talking day to day meal planning, you don't need to have a different dish for every meal every fucking day, that's absurd.

you're going to eat left overs. sometimes it'll be for more than one meal. that's fucking reality, and don't cry about how that's "boring", because in the real world of managing a budget with your food needs, that's how life works out.

Hello fellow SWTOR player! What server do you generally run? I have found RP to be a challenge due to the fact that it is a fairly immersive story line already. But I am so willing to look for other ways to enjoy the game! I miss the MMOs I used to RP heavily with, like City of Heroes, anything similar?

i heard something about updating and code pushes, though i'm not sure if it was already done yet or is coming up. but that could be why that's happening if so, DW also always seems to get a bit buggy during code pushes.

I don't think there *was* a way to have them spread out better without everyone being psychic. Joker and Fiona submitted as a player plot before the event and agreed to have the consequences pushed back until after it; unless Fiona's drop had been delayed there was no other way to do that. I thought player plots were on the calendar but apparently not. It's on the player plot page.

Watson and Bucky came out of IC consequences that were not, afaik, pre-planned.

what characters do you have in mind for the princess in #1?

not much reason for me to hang around here when all i really want to do is rp smut or relationship stuff. memes can be ok for that but f-list is literally just teeming with people. it's impossible not to find someone to play with.

Not that I know of, but my tags all have filters that put them on character specific labels so that may prevent it.

Could any kind anons explain the emotions mechanic? I've read over it several times and maybe it actually isn't that complicated, but I feel like I can't quite wrap my head around it. Mostly how emotions affect the surrounding environment and the effects it produces in the character feeling them, I guess.

I have an Albus and I'm looking to play out some young!Dumbledore/Grindelwald. Definitely interested in exploring how messed up their ideals were and not painting them in a flattering light. I would like it to be on the shippy/smutty side but if you wanted to do a 'Grindelwald leading on Dumbledore to get what he wants' thing, I'd be down for that too.

I use tumblr for one on one rp. The format isn't the best but for one on one I find it pretty easy. There's a huge pool of rpers to chose from and everyone's posts are all right on their page so the crazy is usually pretty easy to spot, especially since most people over there don't feel the need to hide it. The rp culture is pretty easy to pick up on and I've found it really easy to avoid the sjw sections. Replies are usually faster too so when I just want to sit and boomerang there's usually someone on that I can with. This does come with the warning that you do have to wade through some drek to find the good writers and until you get the hang of it, it can be a bit awkward. The format is never going to be as user friendly as DW. I still prefer DW but given our speed slowing down here and the smaller writers pool I supplement with tumblr rp whenever I need a bit more.
