The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. i first joined journal rp back in about 2005

i've taken several breaks unless you count 1-on-1 or psl playing, in which case i've been fairly consistent aside from one break several months long a few years ago

my first game was cfud

favorite game was cfud after i first joined, least favorite game was cfud around the time i left tbh

most memorable experience was being in a sex game and threading two different threesomes with the same character in one open log... to completion

pokedressing on lj, mostly for the sense of community. least, don't remember.

a multi-person cross-canon psl on dear_mun. there were four of us. characters were killed forever, loyalties eroded, a brief truce to attend the dead...it was a hell of a thing. more recently, i tagged someone on the anon prompt meme and we boomeranged. it was just...unexpected cool.

avidgamers was where i started, all those years ago. good times. good terrible times.

Journal RP was back in 2005 or 2006.

First game was a small AU thing I don't remember the name of. I played Alucard from CastleVania.

Ataraxion was both the best and worst.

I went to California and met a lot of my RP partners.

1. Since 2007, but I was RPing on forums for many years before that.

2. I've been in and out a couple times, my longest hiatus was about a year. I'm picky with games and don't really like memes, so if I can't find a game I like I'll just stay out of RP for awhile and do other things.

3. Entranceway, which is somehow still alive.

4. I've played in a lot of games, but I don't think I could name any one as my favourite or least favourite tbh. The ones I stuck with were all great in their own ways, and even the ones that went to shit had their positive traits. Fuck Singularity's app process right after the mod change tho.

5. Accidentally playing from the next big fad canon right before the fad started. Up until that point I'd only ever played obscure LCWs and rare castmates, so it was a very sudden and crazy experience for me. It was my first time being in a huge cast and being subject to wank. I'm really glad I stuck through it though because I feel like I learned a lot from that experience. I made a lot of cool friends, learned how to deal with wank and crit, and warmed up to the idea of playing more popular characters instead of sticking only to obscure shit no one knows about.

first joined in 2008 although I did a really short and terrible one off thing in 2007 i think.

i was active from 2008-2011, then 2013-2014, and now i'm back again.

i pretty much exclusively dressing room/meme/musebox. i've joined games before but dropped because i just can't keep up. first one was i think paradisa.

my character being manipulated and betrayed by an evil au version of the person they cared most about. everyone told them they were bad news but they had ic unshakable trust in them and it was fun to play that.

my current game is the one i've enjoyed being in the most, honestly. i've been in it for several years with one character and that by itself is memorable, never gone that long in a game before. i've got lots of really good cr.
i don't remember especially disliking any other games, guess i've been lucky. there are a couple that qualify as least, not because they were actually bad in any way, but just because they didn't motivate me enough to stick around for long.

first character was a pokemon oc way back in the day but this was before journal rp, in journal rp it was chloe hartzog. first game was splendorocity iirc. i spent most of my time in dressing rooms though since i tend to have trouble making a game stick.

idk i've had pretty good experiences in the games i've been in even if they didn't last or went to shit, whether or not i lasted a month before dropping or over half a year

the murder mystery slash mafia type things i've been in were pretty gr8

OC only game for a stupid fee-to-pay online mafia game.

Ryan's Gulch and eh I had fun in all my games while I was in them.

My friends and I playing a gothic horror love triangle where everyone died and it was great.

since about 2004/2005

mostly active, but i have definitely taken a few breaks. had one a couple of years ago that lasted about a year.

first game i joined was entranceway. still shocked it's ongoing.

game i enjoyed being in the most was probably cape and cowl despite its problems, i had a lot of great plots and cr and met so many great people who are good friends to this day. game i enjoyed being in the least was a panfandom game but it was based upon a specific canon for its environment. it was a very drama filled game and i am surprised people keep making games based off of the canon because its always full of drama no matter what happens.

wow i have a lot of memorable experiences. i've interacted with some of the great wankers of old on more than one occasion (anyone remember stormy?), but also had some great plots i was able to either pull off or be part of. my biggest guilty pleasure are cross-canon ships, and i'm glad to have had some fantastic ones. the only frustrating thing is that i can never have those ships again
