Rundown:

rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

Congrats!! Besides the basics, just remember that the first days on the job might be overwhelming but everything will become clear with repetition! Ask all the questions you need to!

Here's some shit that has fucked over the employees I have helped manage:
Don't show up late.
If there's no uniform, remember it's better to overdress the first few days than underdress.
Don't take personal calls or use your cell phone excessively - not even for little sneak peaks.
Bring lunch the first day, you will feel more comfortable eating something familiar without having to rush about picking up food.
Don't have your friends or family stop by to visit (unless its retail, and unless they will actually buy something)
Don't bring up personal, emotional, or physical issues until you have established yourself, but remember it's def not ok to say you can do a job when you can't (like heavy lifting or computer skills or whatever). It's one thing to have those on your resume (everyone lies), but if on the first day you're asked to do something that you said you could do and you can't, you're fucked.
Bring a change of shoes. In fact, bring a whole change of clothes that are appropriate for work. You'll be glad to have them at some point - if you can't store them in a car, see if they have a place you can store a few things. People don't typically steal clothes like they do food, you should be ok.
Also bring a sweater.
