me, too. there weren't a ton of adults or young adults but there were a ton of varied character types and people would consider apping in. i know earlier there were more media representations and i came after it, but i'd say it was around the time free came out that the game started to decline. at the start it wasn't so bad but slowly the unique players dropped like flies and some stuck it out for a long time (some stuck it out until the end even!) but it seemed to be an equal replacement revolving door. i don't think the mod not being responsive or willing to take on extra mods helped.

i wasn't there when the extra npc was added and we got a landlord pb but that turned me off apping back for end game. does anyone else remember how overwhelmingly the game had said they thought the landlord looked like nic cage? not surprised in a game full of teen anime boys the landlord becomes teen anime boy grown up (la edition). the lady npc was just embarrassing to read. too bad, i'd love to see a game like this again where you get the instant, mostly randomized cr you may not have had any other time just with more of a setting to work with and active mods. something like harvest moon or jrpg lite with the same thing but extras. responsive mods would be the most important things. i don't care if she had health or home issues, she was suggested and asked to take on extra mods multiple times and she almost never had events or event information up on time. regains and requests for simple things could take months to have a short conversation about. locations and character lists would be updated maybe once we got new characters, but rarely when things were dropped or removed. i'd want to see flexible mods who don't only want things exactly as they want it and don't spend more time arguing paypal disputes that aren't theirs and have been solved or making elaborate coding or doujin buying guides.

i dropped not long after the free cast started. rabid and co were tolerable with their shitty ooc dogs and avoidable but i started to lose interest around the rpg event that no one wanted to do anything with. why would anyone want to do something that wasn't a flower or cookie exchange with wacky consequences? there were a few unbearable players like rune but i mostly kept to myself more and more until i realized i was only tagging a few people.
