I'm in the market for a new sex game. What good ones are out there? I'm hellaciously out of the loop for games, so i've got no ideas.

there are no good sex games

tanagura is the biggest and most active one, though, if that's what you're after

I have a lot of fun at tana, and the plot is pretty great too!

it's easy to get involved and feel like your character is actually influencing stuff

there's a lot of world building to digest and that's only because the game has been going on almost two years running but really tana is a good time if you like sex and dystopian cyberpunk

Carvaka's smaller but generally wank free. What type of character were you thinking of playing?

It depends what kind of game (setting, whatever) you're looking for beyond "sex game," really. I'd suggest Eudio but if you play a popular character, chances are they're already taken.

I'm having a ton of fun at Enervation even though the setting isn't typically my style, because I hate big games; they overwhelm me. There's a shitload of wank on here about that game (which, so far, appears to be largely regurgitated wank from like six years ago?), but everyone in the game seems really nice and pretty active so far. But Enervation has a pretty dark and specific theme to it, overall, so it's not for everybody.

as someone else who was eyeballing enervation, this i good to hear! the "wank" (if you can even call it that) doesn't off-put me. big games overwhelm me too and i'm happy to see games play with dark themes more.

Honestly, I never play in games set in kind of fantasy settings, because I don't actually like fantasy stuff, but the rest of the premise ticked my boxes, so I gave it a shot. So far, I'm really glad I did. App in. If you don't like it, you can always drop, you know? It's kind of a no-lose situation for you, imo, which is ultimately why I decided to give it a chance.

So far it's a fun game, decently paced, has active and proactive friendly players, and involved mods who seem to be on top of things.

All new sex games get ridiculous wank threads when they first open up. Considering the comms aren't locked, people can poke around and see for themselves whether it might be their cup of tea or not. It's still small enough that people getting in early will have more ability to shape it into what they want it to be than after everything gets established and entrenched.

It happened to hit on most of what I wanted out of a sex game at the time. I'm glad I apped.

there's an anon tinhatting about the game's pleasantness being a conspiracy but as someone in it, it's just full of really nice people. the game tone is on the dark side (it's a war where one of the sides advocates rape and torture for power) and you're going to be exposed to at least mention of noncon elements, but if you can handle that then i'd encourage you to come join us! none of the comms are locked, have a look around.

the game's only been open for about a week, so if you want to get your character a foothold in the setting then now is a really great time to get in.

pleasantness as a conspiracy? lmfao how does that even work? you can tell it's the end of summer when the wank gets extra dumb right before school starts up again.

as soon as i can figure out what side i want in on, i'm probably going to app.
