rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

the drinking one wasn't, but it was also pretty much a psa and drinking still isn't on the level of sex, so ayrt still sounds like a weird autist blowing up tiny little throwaway gags to be bigger than they actually are.

hell, the minerva mink episodes were all tongue in cheek. that is literally not the same as a central, non comedic element of your kid's show being sex.

fusion really isn't a central element though

... it's one of the major cores of Garnet's entire character.

It's a central element of Garnet specifically, but not to the show as a whole. We know Garnet is a fusion but she just IS. Ruby and Sapphire don't frequently unfuse and fuse again. I think for fusion to be a central element of the show, it would have to happen a lot more frequently.

something doesn't have to happen fucking constantly to be a central element, it just has to be deeply important to the plot and worldbuilding, and fusion is.
