rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

sad, yes. it did really just peter out. but humiliating?

The game's end was humiliating to itself, anon. It petered out pathetically.

That's because players rarely want to stick around for an endgame. It wasn't specific to EV.

tbh the mods made EV as stupid and boring as possible.

more like they made it pointless to play. you could never do anything without it being destroyed almost as soon as you were done. so by the time endgame came around, everyone was just tired of trying to do anything. what's the point?

on the other hand, i guess you could count that as "stupid and boring". so nevermind.

Also nothing went up on time for the endgame. By the time it finally did, people were even more disengaged than they already were. Part of the key to actually having an endgame not fizzle is sticking to the initial endgame schedule while players are still interested.

but the interest had all waned well before they announced the endgame. like they were all set to do another phase before it petered out.
