I'm interested in playing out some kind of Warden on the run situation with Alistair set during Inquisition. Possibly slightly AU with sneaking around and hiding out while investigating what the rest of the order is up to. I can work with pretty much anyone else on this, canon-mates (including protags), cross-canon or OCs are all good and I'm happy to AU to make things work. Also open to gen or shipping options.

Basically I want sneaky adventures on the run either as a one-off thing or something on-going.

I have no idea why, since it's not like I'm playing the games recently... but ideas for different Wardens have been popping up in my head like daisies, lately. (that's massive hyperbole for "three", by the way)

I'd absolutely love this c: I could throw the rough ideas of the Wardens at you, see what piques your interest, and then frantically come up with better details and putting together a journal??? HAHAHA

they're all ladies but I'm up for ship or gen, whichever your preference!

That would be great! I'm pretty flexible so if there is one character in particular you'd be most interested in I can work with that, otherwise I'm happy to see which of them clicks for me.

I've been chewing on my very first Warden - a Brosca - as well as a Cousland for wanting to fuck up the usual 'happy royals ending' (which there's nothing wrong with!!)...because I'm weird like that pfffffffft (not necessarily 'fucking with' in a bad way, either; a Cousland who's both a character and a vehicle for changing that narrative because I really like fucking with canons.....!!!)

I loooooove canon divergent AUs so i'm absolutely for the 'on the run' scenario; there's even potential for different situations with that theme, if you'd like c: (tho i'm obviously digging what you want to do!)

Either of those sound like they could be fun to play off - or even a commoner AU because that would be interesting too - so if there's one you're most interested in/is most developed? Because honestly I can work with anything.

Canon divergent AUs are the best (and there's such good possibilities in canon especially if you like everything going to shit >>) and I'd definitely be interested in different situations. I've mostly got my heart set on sneaky, being hunted adventures and while I have some basic ideas they're not set in stone and I'd be open to anything you wanted to play. So throw ideas at me if you want!

aleatoried, and I haven't even started with Brosca - and I'm working on those character surveys so that you have a better idea of the characters, and I get a focused guideline to help gather my thoughts for fleshing them out, haha.

those divergent AUs, by the by... as far Cousland, the 'fucking with the common narratives' I mentioned earlier were ideas like...her rejecting the opportunity to be queen at Alistair's side because fuck the world that never let her forget that she wasn't a 'true' Cousland (a POC raised by an entirely white noble family? YUP LET'S RATTLE THE CAGE FROM THE START)(also this fucks with the commonplace practice of Couslands ending up royal and many Cousland ladies being blonde and blue eyed [AGAIN I HAVE NO PROBLEM WITH THIS I JUST LIKE MESSING WITH CANON STATUS QUOS] and the Cousland origin being so...Disney?)
OR alternatively a fucked up narrative where she forces him into it because she got traumatized by the loss and is a little too desperate to get back to the standard of living she's used to (because I wouldn't be me without fucking with things psychologically)??

idk these are just rough ideas I've been tossing around since before I even replied to you. THERE ARE SO MANY POSSIBILITIES TO FUCK AROUND WITH THINGS.

on the run is also a nice bit of flipping narrative (I'm...really getting the sense that this is a new thing that I love doing); I think I have a couple of ideas, but you're the one who came asking and I'm the one obliging, so you tell me what you'd like to do! c: (there's also nothing saying that, if we get on well, we can't do more than one scenario!)

No, not at all and I'm sorry for taking so long to reply. I'm definitely still interested if you are, just got caught up in some RL stuff. Plus trying to more solidly hammer down some ideas of my own beyond vague 'action-y hijinks and at least one daring escape/rescue then /explosion noises' because I have a tendency to just make things up as I go along.

I'm tempted to just suggest starting with having to escape the order when it becomes clear shit's not OK and go into hiding and see where we feel like going from there, incorporating whatever possibilities seem fun if it works?

With those AUs you mentioned I could see working the first in pretty easily if you wanted to go that route, with them both staying as Wardens. And I do like the sound of the second a lot (because I enjoy fucked up relationships and making characters suffer way too much) so would definitely be down for another scenario if we click.
