rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. i think the distinction between casual gamers like ayrt and self-professed "hardcore gamers" is an important one to make

in my experience the hardcore ones are the insufferable cunts while the casuals are usually a sane bunch. the problem with so-called "moba" games is that they attract all the hardcores with a smattering of curious casuals for flavor. i've tried a few moba games, just because i have a friend who happens to be one of those hardcore gamers (and i'm sure i'd hate him like i hate all the others if we hadn't grown up together) who keeps trying to get me into them

vidya games are my main fandom and one of my biggest hobbies but i try so hard not to be A Gamer

i get so embarrassed for my kind when they start getting enraged over moving picture toys and start harping about casuls in complete seriousness

oh please, casuals are just as insufferable. they're like the vegans or non-smokers of the gaming world.
