rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

i was interested in joining a game recently but i'm kind of bummed about being rejected. they gave me revisions, i posted them, the mods kind of forgot to reply to my app comment until i messaged them, they rejected me, and then when i sent them a message to ask for app tips, they forgot about that message too. it's been a while since i messaged them so i feel like there's no point in prodding them about it.

i was thinking about apping another character i'm more familiar with but now i'm kind of feeling :/ about it. maybe my app skills are really bad and they don't wanna hurt my feelings or something, idk. i tried apping before but got revisions and a rejection the first time too.

there aren't really any other games that have piqued my interest, so i guess i'll just stick with memes/psls for now.

the mods 'forgetting' to reply to you is a warning sign about the mods, not you. bullet dodged.

idk, whenever i think about it, i think about (not awful) excuses they might have. maybe they legitimately got busy with mod duties both times, maybe dw ate my messages, maybe gmail ate the notifs, etc, etc.

at least plurk doesn't have to deal with me being a whiner. just thinking about venting about this on plurk, to my friends who are in the game, makes me feel kind of embarrassed because i don't want them to contact the mods on my behalf or bring it up on wg.
