i'd say it's as good a time as any other. there's a bit more limited range in games to pick from as a lot of them have closed, but there's still a variety of big and small and all different types. and tbh, i feel like as long as you just state you're new and want to get into it, you'll likely get a lot of people willing to walk you through things.
