Can someone summarize please? My timeline is freaking out over this but I am not reading almost 40 pages for some company I don't care about.

it seems to me that it's saying:

"weh weh i was fired and i'm going to appropriate the memory of a beloved dead employee to dredge up sympathy for me and make my bosses look evil. aren't i wonderful?"

yeah, i'm sure monty would have loved you using his name to stir up drama, ass.

the company and the show went through some changes that he didn't like. honestly it reads to me like someone who's going through a really hard time, who also needs a break away from the show he and his dead friend worked on and some therapy, is taking out his anger on a source that doesn't entirely deserve it.

i hesitate to say friend because if they're willing to use a dead "friend's" memory for their own gain, i doubt if they were ever truly a friend.

he legit sounds emotionally unstable and in a bad place to me right now, so he may not be considering things rationally. he also seems to feel like he's defending monty and upholding what monty wanted, which only makes me feel more confident in my opinion of the situation. but think what you will tbh, no skin off my nose.

this doesn't sound like a conniving manipulator using his dead friend's memory to make a buck. this sounds like an emotionally unstable, grieving man who's convinced he's upholding his friend's memory. i don't necessarily think he's in the right, but i don't think he's a shitty person, either.
