Do you use bar soap or body wash

I use bar soap but my bf uses body wash and I don't get the appeal. I find it very hard to lather without a loofa and that I have to use a ton of it which seems super wasteful both monetarily and environmentally in terms of packaging and shipping

What appeal am I missing

Nope, just lather with the bar soap and rinse which I find sufficient. I tried using both in the past but I feel like they irritated my skin and left me with ketopilaris plus I didn't like how they smelled dingy or musty after just a few uses and it felt wasteful to use tons of washcloths each week.

both. i prefer to foam up my loofa with bar soap first, then drizzle a little bodywash on there for extra scent and extra lather. you don't actually need much when you use a loofa or cloth, and the kind i have smells really fucking good

Interesting, I always preferred mild scents in all of my personal care products from soap to laundry detergent so maybe that's another reason it didn't appeal to me

Body wash.

I'm not a fan of soap because it makes my skin feel dryer and it always gets all gross on the bottom, which is wasteful to me. I've tried many types of bar soap and not one works in a way I can tolerate so I'm glad to use body wash and a loofah.

My skin is annoyingly dry anyway, but soap actually gives me chapped sections of skin. Loofah/washcloth plus cheap moisturizing body wash is all I use. No scum, no fuss, just squeeze out a little bit and lather up.

I like the scents available, too. Outside of expensive artisan shit all bar soap p much smells the same to ke.

some of both. soup is my not-so-secret love, but i tend to like to buy the home made small batch independent etsy seller blah blah types of soap, and that shit gets expensive if you buy too much of it. i also feel like i go through soap very quickly. when i'm feeling lazy, i just squirt some shower gel on a loofah (and i buy all of mine on sale) and just use that instead.

you're supposed to use a loofa, not talking about the tube kind, but the ones that are balls? you can get the travel ones that are thin and you're good to go for a few months lol amazing. I use sulfur soap with a little bit of moisturizer, never gone back to body wash for 5 years.

you're probably using shit body wash tbh.

i only use the fancy scented stuff from bath and body works (and if you wait until their buy 2 get 3 three sale you can literally get like a year supply for $30) and just rubbing it between my hands for a second creates foam and bubbles for days. i even use it to shave it lathers so well, even without a loofah.

why would you want to smell like chemicals

naw man it smells great. their body sprays smell super chemical-y but their body washes and lotions are so good.
