You sound fat

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

so you'd prefer people to suffer every single day of their lives to be aesthetically pleasing to you

if their body is getting all the calories and nutrients it needs, how are they suffering? obesity isn't just about being aesthetically pleasing. it's a drain on resources, on time, on the space of others, on other peoples' health and wellness. i know fat people love to say their fatness isn't impacting anybody else, but it is

obesity is selfishness

(Anonymous) 2016-05-08 05:00 am (UTC)(link)
how does someone's obesity affect other people? honestly, i want to know. if you don't like how an obese person looks i guess that's eye strain, but i don't know how someone's weight affects another person's "health and wellness."

obesity has all kinds of strange filtered-down consequences. first is shit like taking up space. if someone has to awkwardly twist themselves on a long plane or train ride to dodge someone's fat spilling over in to their seat, it's a strain on them physically

a car carrying, say, an entire fucking family of obese people, can not stop as quickly due to the added weight. a lot of times, supermorbid obesity causes maneuverability issues with a driver. their gut is in the way, their arms are too fat to turn the wheel as much as they need to, etc

medical workers have it the worst. the number of injuries sustained by nurses trying to handle fat patients is just a god damn tragedy. back and neck injuries aren't a joke. this can also count for rescue workers

speaking of rescue workers, it's honestly dangerous for certain professionals to be obese, and it severely impacts their ability to work. fat firemen, fat cops, fat emts. if you can't even run up a flight of stairs without wheezing, can't chase down a criminal or get a decent hold on him because your gunt is in the way, lift a normal-weight person, or fit in to spaces you need to fit in to? that's a danger to the people you're supposed to be protecting. you've lost the ability to do your job

obesity can also cause problems during emergency evacuations. no one wants to be behind a fat person while they're trying to escape a dangerous situation

there have also been interesting points made about national security. obesity is even having an impact on that. we're literally getting so fat as a nation that a people are being turned away from the military because they're too fat to perform

your hatred of fat people is astounding and i am awed by how hard you're trying to justify it. i applaud for you.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-08 05:36 am (UTC)(link)
yeah, i do hate fat people. that's something i don't deny

you know i have a fucking point though

(Anonymous) 2016-05-08 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
being obese in certain professions isn't a good idea, it's true, and i will give you that. but bro there is really no reason to care if someone is fat. why are you devoting so much energy to this, it is such a minor, inconsequential part of life. you need to let it go.

(Anonymous) 2016-05-08 05:45 am (UTC)(link)
> how hard you're trying to justify it.

no, no you really don't.

and there's the flaw in your argumen. just because someone isn't losing weight doesn't mean they're getting all the calories OR nutrients they need. at all. the fact you seem to think that's what it is is where this argument is circling around.

yes, because missing a t suddenly makes a sentence illegible.

it has nothing to do with the missing t
