(Anonymous) 2016-05-06 02:40 pm (UTC)(link)i mostly get stuck with period pieces because a lot of plays are set back in time for our particular company but i really enjoy making fifties style dresses. even on our bigger actressses the shape of the clothes always flatters them well and there is nothing like seeing a costume give someone confidence to get into character! those are the days i don't mind working long hellish hours in the costume shop. but i'm in a position where i don't just design so it's a process.
