Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

Bunnies live in dens with other bunnies, so yee. They like to have someone they can cuddle and depend on, bonded pairs groom one another and lie together. We also have a bunny at home that hops on the couch and plays with us.

Surprisingly rabbits are shitty mothers who leave their babies and feed them once a day, giving no fucks if some die or don't feed.

to be fair the mortality rate amoung young bunnies in the wild (and their mothers) is crazy high. Not to mention the longer a mother is around, the easier it is for predators to find the den. But yeah, still no mother of the year awards going out to most mama bunnies (except the one that killed a chicken when it tried to eat her babies). Unrelated to chickens, I found this on youtube the other day. If anyone was curious about how a mother feeds her babies. It's crazy.

Yeah there's definitely an instinctive reason for it but I guess a lot of people are used to social animals like dogs and cats being super dedicated mothers.

I've actually never seen that before so I'm gonna have a look at it. Tbh bunnies are so misunderstood I just love creating any discourse about them.

Bunnies can be such amazing pets but they really do take a lot more time and effort than a lot of people are aware. People like you, not only helping them find forever homes and loving them in the meantime, but also talking to other people about them and helping educate are exactly what bunnies need most. It makes me so happy hearing about it and I hope you get back in spades all the good you're passing out. In bunny AND in people karma.

Oh my gosh anon, you made me tear up a little.

I had no idea what I was going to do with my degree when I started but working at the shelter has made me so rambling and passionate about rabbits it's embarrassing. I honestly don't feel like I'm doing all that much but I could talk about small animal welfare for daaaayyyyssss. Shelter work is super enriching and I highly recommend it for everyone.
