rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

I dabbled a little bit when I was younger, but that would be verging on a decade or so ago now.

Try insanejournal. I don't know how they are now but this is basically their entire jam, either with mutants or supernaturals or whatever.

yeah, i guess so! that's where it came from, though, it's just that now it's moved from being one part of the community to being nearly everyone. i'd guess it's because those old games where it started are now gone and the players diffused through dwrp with their text post formatting

yep. there's quite a few characters i play where i have about zero desire to interact with castmates. i feel kind of like a dick but i literally just like my own character for the most part. some of them i don't even bother topleveling with though since it's hard to avoid castmates.

I want all the mcu/616 civil war interaction ever and I'm not even in either cast. I'm in a game with a ton of mcus and 616s and right now I'm stalking the hell out of a 616 Speedball and mcu Scarlet Witch thread, amazed it even exists.

as long as you're just in memes, there's nothing wrong with saying cross-canon only. no one's really going to care and if they do its their problem not yours. if they tag you anyway just ignore it.

that said, yes, ive gotten to that point with canons in the past and all i could really do was not play them (in games! though i dont do memes so its the same thing for me).
