as long as you're just in memes, there's nothing wrong with saying cross-canon only. no one's really going to care and if they do its their problem not yours. if they tag you anyway just ignore it.

that said, yes, ive gotten to that point with canons in the past and all i could really do was not play them (in games! though i dont do memes so its the same thing for me).
