But no if I know someone's a quick tagger and I'm enjoying the thread with them, I'm usually going to prioritize them because they probably still have limited windows of time they can tag in. Boomerang during that time = have more fun with the thread and hopefully make substantial progress.

a dude i know contacted me late last night, saying he needed help. i don't really like it but i agreed to talk to help him. turns out it was all a ploy because he (rightly) thought i was avoiding his calls and he's incredibly manic but refuses to recognize it and ranted at me about everything under the sun for two hours.

now he won't stop texting me.

"MOBA" stands for "Multiplayer Online Battle Arena". it means there's a bunch of players at once, controlling a single character, and there's strategy involved in that there's enemies to kill.

that's... about it. even MOBA players don't have a strict definition of the word. i'm convinced the only people who act like MOBAs are their own super speshul genre that need an acronym definition hang out on kotaku or forbes and try to make video games seem more complex than they actually are.

"has MOBA elements" is a stupid phrase. any game can "have MOBA elements" if you squint. both OW and BB are multiplayer first-person-shooters, battleborn just has more of a landscape to traverse and includes enemies to kill.

Certainly not. There was a lot happening with the Beatles in the late 60's. Brian Epstein died, Magical Mystery Tour was completely panned, John and Paul had been at each others throats over creative differences, Paul was pissed they weren't touring anymore, George felt like the band never supported him, Ringo was exhausted, there was a huge disagreement over signing Allen Klein as their new manager, support staff that they'd had for years was quitting or being fired by Klein, and absolutely none of them were enjoying themselves anymore.

Yoko (or more importantly, John's insistence on involving her in nearly every single aspect of Beatles business without asking the other three first) was a factor, sure, but she was just yet another sprinkling of gunpowder on top of the massive powder keg of resentment the four of them had been cramming to the max for the past nine years.

If anyone put the nail in the coffin years too soon, it was Klein.

The thing it, it's been 'dying' since before we moved to DW. Hell, I remember people moaning about how text base RP as a whole is dying more than ten years ago.

And yet the singular game I'm in will get a player that's totally new to DWRP every few months. A different game (that's also 'dying') got well over 40 apps during the most recent app round. I've counted at least 4 'mid-sized' games that have over 100 characters. Event posts regularly still get thousands of comments over the course of a week or two.

Why on earth should anyone assume we're dying?
