rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. So it's official... I will be working on the Flowers visual novel as a translation checker! #flowersvn

I will not be retranslating the game, but I will be working my hardest to bring an accurate and legible translation to the fans. #flowersvn

I'd also like to mention that there will be another translator and a bunch of editors/testers involved, so I'm not alone in this! #flowersvn

As nice as this normally would be, JAST apparently still wants to get this game out in March so not sure if they and that other translator are going to be able to check the script within 2-3 weeks. While also giving those editors time to polish the text.

I don't really have any hope for Flowers at this point, especially if they're sticking with the March release.

Yeah, the only way I can see it getting an actually competent translation is if they patch it later on. And even then, it'll probably still be stiff and weird-sounding, just not filled with typos and errors.

It's been delayed for QC. And a newly polished demo will be released. Further details will come later.

Unless they plan on retranslating the whole thing, I'm not sure how much help this will be. I'm trying not to be cynical but this is JAST.
