well, the game is closing soon, so i don't know why there's even that many.

so is kiss going to actually step it up to mod to the end?

sure doesn't seem like it, the list of things that never got done is growing, the game is bleeding characters, and the other mods are already running a tdm for their new game so

Based on what I've seen from plurks kiss is working non-stop. Technically the other two are helpers, so I'm sure they can only do so much? I was a helper mod before at another game and we had to wait for instructions so...?

it's frustrating all around because the players have to wait on so many things, but kiss can't be entirely blamed because real life does happen and get in the way. at the same time it's difficult to expect kitty and sonia to pull all the weight while kiss isn't around because yeah, they probably need instructions.

i really wish people would stop cutting kiss slack. it's been literally since pretty much the moment she opened the game that she's always had something going on that has prevented her from doing things in a timely manner. it took her way too long to have only two co-mods and she honestly should have fully stepped down and given it to more people who didn't throw in all these active and dumb npcs.

she is the reason the game has changed so much over the years and so many good players have come and gone, especially since she repeatedly would cut herself slack and app, reapp, and play too many characters in this game and others while shirking her modwork. while no mod should have to have their life revolve around the game they mod, if they cannot handle it they should step down. she was requested repeatedly to have mods for years (at least twice by myself on anon) and has even addressed it a few times to what amounted as humming and hemming about not wanting to give over control or accept that she's not doing her job. i remember people asking the landlord for simple things but she'd only reply to a comment a month and it would take 2-3 to just have the conversation to request the thing.

i hope she never mods a game again and i hope people start holding her responsible for her lack of activity. no amount of rl drama, illness, or work is an excuse. she isn't 15 and just because this is rp doesn't mean that she doesn't hold a responsibility to be active and involved as a player or a mod. if she can't do that then she needs to be only in psls and memes or quit rping, but definitely never modding again.

if life is that busy or stressful, don't mod

yes this because people who have busy lives or dramatic medical issues should be banned from ever playing or modding a game ever. in fact we should get out our pitchforks and knives and chase these flaky players from one game to another to make certain they never play or mod again.

or we could try to be understanding. i know it gets frustrating when events don't progress in games as quickly as we like them to but you don't have to join the games run by the slow mods and running to anon coms to flap your arms about how bored you are doesn't help. if you don't like how the game is being run there is one very simple solution, drop, find a new game that does run at the pace you like. failing that try to make your own. i wish we could move past this constant bitching at mods who are only trying to run games and have them be fun for themselves and their players but maybe aren't as skilled at plots or have as much free time as they expect to get things done. this is why no one wants to mod games anymore.

Absolutely this. There are so many games out there that you always have the choice. At this point it's more like people just want to be angry about something.

I don't understand why people in this hobby feel so entitled and fail to see that the ones running the games are people too. I've thought about modding another game, but stuff like this reminds me why I'm glad I didn't.

it's understandable that kiss has life obligations and that it's not necessary for her to devote all her time and effort into modding, but i'm also frustrated that she is repeatedly late with things even with two comods at her side. are players who constantly demand mods to be around 24/7 unreasonable? yes. is it unreasonable to ask that plot-relevant info and other important stuff aren't days late? not really. slipups now and then shouldn't be scrutinized too hard, but this is a constant pattern in kiss's case.

I get being frustrated. I have been there with a the mods of a few games but honestly if it is only a day or two then yeah you do sound a little entitled. Try coming up with your own plots during the down times.

actually, i do. i find things to do with my cr and plot with them whenever we aren't having events. but i'd still like to have this endgame info that was supposed to be up nearly two weeks ago. is that really so much to ask for?

fuck off kiss, you aren't entitled to ironfist control a game and refuse to get comods at the cost of all players. there is a point where consideration and understanding is not fair and is a burden that a mod (or a player) has no right to inflict on other players because BUT MUH FUNTIMES TOO I'M ENTITLED TO THEM!!

i love it. whenever anyone disagrees with you lot suddenly they are called out by name even though you are always wrong about whom is replying to you. its anon you have no idea who i am. but i will give you a hint i am just tired of hearing the same worn out complaints and this person should never mod a game again statements made over and over again. it is a game and it can be as fun as you make it. mods are not fun dispensers.

She is probably never going to mod again anyway, make what you can out of it.

I get it, people are frustrated but stop the 'calling out' nonsense because if she doesn't have time to mod a game, what makes you think she's got the time to be here?

but that's just the thing - a game isn't fun for the players when everything takes forever to get done. sometimes making a game fun for the players means admitting that you can't do everything yourself and that you need help.
