rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.

for characters, casts, whatever! sun/moon hype had me wondering how many of us are around on dwrp.

i played Bianca in a game once many moons ago

i have accounts for Hilda, Kris, Lyra, Janine, and Elesa (all gameverse) too but don't really get to use them as much nowadays, tragically, though i'm pretty much always down for meme stuff!!

just curious, are there any active pokemon RP games out there right now? i've heard of route-29 (not much, they have a cast i'd like to join though) and i was planning on asking about it if a thread came up in the game section, but that's about it.

afaik the only other one around right now is

bravenewworld, which is a Pokemon AU game. I have no idea as to what the speed or quality is like, though.

Once more with feeling, since I got unlucky and caught just the very end of the last post:

Rocket HQ Tales is a very tiny game on Tumblr. Right now we only have around 14 muses spread between 6 unique players, but life in the community continues to roll along nicely (the atmosphere almost feels more like a low-commitment PSL group that anyone can app into). The game’s main setting is Team Rocket’s central base. It’s a slice-of-life affair with occasional events, and the atmosphere is suuuuper friendly and laid-back, as you might expect from such a tiny game. It’s a really nice environment if you want a bit of low-pressure Team Rocket fun on the side of whatever else you’re doing RPwise nowadays.

A little bit about the game:

Characters from every iteration of Pokemon are welcome. So you can play from the games, PokeSpe, the anime, whatever takes your fancy (currently the only exception to the rule is Pokemon Burst, but this is subject to change).

All non-Rockets (protagonists, gym leaders, you name it) are welcome, but must be AUed to have become a member of the Team (however, double-crossing spies are allowed!)

AC is a cakewalk, all you need is one IC reply (tag) a week.

This is a closed game, meaning players only use their blog for RP things related to that game. Think of it as being a little like journal RPs back in the old-school days of LJRP — your dashboard is the equivalent of an LJ reading-page.

Who we need/would like:

Almost everyone, really! We have two out of four Rocket Executives, three protagonists, two gym leaders, a Riley, a Tabitha, and a handful of OCs. New-blood of any sort is always great.
