rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. In my 7+ years in JRP, I have never once seen so much IC drama go down without even a drop of OOC drama to go along with it. Good job, Snowbabes. You are an inspiration to us all.

It helps that everyone in this game is really awesome and is good at communicating OOC. During all of Vicodingate all of the players were talking on plurk and arranging threads. Communication is key.

alright, i'll bite. not in the game, but what happened? need a cleanser after psycho anon in the interstellar thread.

pst the psycho's name was harry and they were logged in

it's been brewing for months but the simplified version is as follows:

- rhys from borderlands is severely injured, one of the doctors (clayton) asks house (as in house MD) for vicodin, house tells him to fuck off

- angel (also from borderlands) resorts to stealing the vicodin

- house gets his own back by calling the network admin 'on rhys behalf' and forcing spiderbot surgery on him that he didn't agree to

- clayton suggests the borderlands crew go and grab more vicodin from the pharmacy before house can get to it

- they do that, there's a scuffle with steph brown in the process

- house learns that rhys has an AI of handsome jack in his head, after the real handsome jack murders someone on the network, and blackmails him (if house gets his pills, rhys keeps his secret)

- house doesn't get his pills and reveals all on the network shortly before beckett (VTM) beats the crap out of him

- ic clusterfuck ensues with most people being too distracted by vicodin drama to care too much about the jack ai in rhys's head

it was amazing

There's a bunch of smaller intermediate stuff too, such as:

- Clayton attempting to negotiate with House and being told to fuck off, culminating in House locking himself in the hospital morgue overnight (characters are usually compelled to leave in the evening) and getting himself killed, but making sure Clayton is watching from his tablet so he can see it.

- House being such a dick the Borderlands crew decided to steal even more of his meds.

- House manipulating Quark (Zero Escape) to try to steal his Vicodin back from Clayton, which ultimately failed when Quark was caught

That's all stuff off the top of my head, there's probably more

- rhys proceeding to taunt house with the meds they stole to the dulcet sounds of t-swift

- clayton trying to manipulate everyone to do what he wants and losing the borderlands crew trust in the process

goddamn, this all sounds magical

if you're looking for a game at any point, consider joining us! I've been in lj/dwrp for years and this is the happiest I've ever been in a game.

i have definitely looked at snowblind in the past! i couldn't come up with a character who i really liked for the setting, but it's on my list if i do.

the tdm here was some of the most fun i've had in a really long time at a game. life kind of had me by the balls, so i never ended up apping but now that things have cleared up, i'm seriously considering giving it another shot. you guys are awesome!
