Then why release a demo? You'd think they'd polish the translation before releasing it.

And if the editing's 60% done you'd think the translation would be polished enough for a demo. Especially since they plan go release in March.

Yeah, that's my thought too and the fact that apparently JAST doesn't understand the concept of what a demo is. Now, Payne's claiming this:

And I'm thinking "I don't care if the script is an old version. What made you think it was a good idea to present it as it was now? And, no amount of editing is going to fix that trainwreck of a translation unless you retranslate from scratch."

If anything that tweet just confirms they didn't give a shit. Who the hell releases a demo with the old scripts? It's like they're trying to sabotage their own sales.

The purpose of a demo is to garner interest and give people a feel of the game. You'd think they'd put in effort.

And it seems there is no saving that translation.

TBH, I get the distinct impression those weren't old scripts. They probably were going to release the game with the scripts as-is until people started complaining.

It's possible that the old scripts line is just damage control.

I wonder if they'll bother to retranslate it.
