i was looking at pictures of my character on tumblr and i came across a typical "x is trans, y is genderfluid" post

okay no big deal those are all over tumblr, this won't deter me from my search

but then i scroll down the very same page and there's "fat!x" headcanons (the character is very scrawny) with a little fatphobia from their closest friends and i'm just like... why

tell me about seeing worse things than this on tumblr for your characters, anons

oh man, i didn't think this show would even be a blip on people's radar, but i LOVE IT I'M GLAD TO SEE IT MENTIONED HERE.

tbh it's the world-building elements that completely drew me in at first, i just think that this universe is such a well-done mish-mash of familiar and unfamiliar, and how i would see a community like the Belters actually evolve after generations spent in space I LOVE ALL THESE DETAILS

and then the characters turned out to be surprisingly solid? finally, the whole political conspiracy angle - so far, this show is very much a win for me.

Oh my god yes. (Also if you threaded with a Sinjir on d_p, it was definitely me, because god knows I was smearing myself all over that for actual weeks after the movie.)

I want like everything with Poe. First, because the more I play Sinjir, the more I realize how attracted he is to unironically heroic people. Because it's just so novel to him. Who are you!! How have you survived in a cruel and uncaring world!! And also because it's something that he doesn't feel that he has, and it's something that he wants for himself. Real emotional connection is new and scary and really, really nice.

Which isn't to say that I would automatically demand that it be shippy, but Sinjir probably would have a little bit of a crush regardless.

Sinjir as an interrogator/defector/spy surrounding the First Order conflict would be amazing. Sinjir as someone from the past who's trying to get used to the time that he finds himself in is amazing. (He would probably gravitate towards Leia and the Resistance very fast.)

I know! In all of the games I've looked at recently, it seems like there's only people from VII and XIII, if there's even any FF cast at all! There used to be such a diverse mix of all of the games. It was like everyone would just ban together and it was so amazing. The most fun I ever had was playing with other FF people.

I've seen a few kicking around in memes, but otherwise all I've seen is small little concentrated cast. It seems like there used to be a lot of diversity, with people playing from all of the games, not just the big, more popular ones. I guess I was expecting it to be the same way.

oh, and there's one who's a casual drug user and lots of tumblrites are hellbent on making it seem like it's a huge serious deal that should never be taken lightly even tho it is in canon
