Yeah I know, I would kill for a year 2 Patience and Time, but alas. I know most people preferred Ice Breaker but having P&T's Third Eye and active camouflage helped so much against flankers and counter-snipers. Sadly light level is more important in Iron Banner.

I heard people were running Icebreaker in IB actually. I guess if you feel confident enough to make up for the LL difference, or had high enough gear to offset it, why not? Someone on reddit did some math I believe and even for a y1 weapon, Icebreaker still does enough damage on a headshot to kill. I assume P&T would follow?

I'm a total garbage pvp sniper tho, so I can't provide any actual evidence :P

I'm still struggling to get the drops I need from King's Fall to take me up closer to 320, so I feel like using a year 1 gun would drop my light level far too much for me to survive/kill anything. Having said that, I did notice someone using Ice Breaker in Trials of Osiris (against me... exploding isn't very fun). I'm not surprised people still use year 1 gear if they can swing it, some of that stuff was ridiculously good.
