i haven't felt inspired for a character in a really long time

i'll play them hard on a meme or tdm or musebox or something for a weekish, then abruptly i have no interest in them anymore

how do i retain interest? this didn't used to be a problem.

I love how saturated the colors are going to be in comparison to previous parts, if the PV is anything to go by

I feel like I need some outside interest to keep me going. As long as I have a very active friend group that's into whatever series I'm playing from, it's easy to keep a character going. Being able to talk, theorize, and bullshit OOC about my character fuels my drive to RP.

The Underground

There's the London we all know.

And then there's the Underground. The real Underground, a secret world of supernatural forces and strange creatures that walk the city streets hidden in plain sight. Witches, vampires, werewolves. Shapeshifters and humans with extraordinary powers. Ghosts. And the Other Realm, where the fae dwell, and where magic leaks out into every corner of the city.

While the parties of Westminster fight their political battles, there is another much more dangerous power struggle going on. It's a battle for territory, and it is fought by the various supernatural factions that claim dominion over the city.

Will peace prevail? Or is conflict inevitable? Let the story begin...

About the Game
The Underground is an alternate universe (AU) game set in a supernatural version of modern-day London. The game is a mix of urban fantasy and supernatural drama, with slice-of-life elements and political intrigue.

Player characters will join various supernatural factions vying for territory within the city. Choose your allies, build up your empires and make your move. The actions of player characters will determine who comes out on top in the fight for power.

hm, i almost feel the opposite. or neutral to it. i actually start to hate when my fandoms are discussed what seems like too much and my friends start spouting about ~feels~ and dumb theories (sorry, friends, but a lot of them come straight off of tumblr.)

so i just got a macbook pro for christmas and i don't want to come off as an ungrateful piece of shit or anything but i'm having a really hard time adjusting, especially since i've been using windows for my entire life

a lot of the software i use doesn't have a mac equivalent (km player) and even simple shit like highlighting a line of text is made all the more complicated

mac users, what are some tips and tricks that'll make this a lot easier? will i get used to this. i can't return it

Out of your suffering will rise my victory.” Then it all goes black. The purple smoke rushes away to reveal the moon standing naked in the sky above you with stars stretched across boundless space. Meek and still are the Silent Mountains to all but those who can hear it's whispers, to those who hear the call. “Beware the stories, beware the idea, beware the Devil which has no flesh.” Welcome to Seraphina. -------------- Set in the Land of Seraphina, characters are brought into the world by the Curse. It is unknown why at first, but the residents of Seraphina treat newcomers as the sign of prosperity to come. From the sprawling Whispering Woods of the Silent Mountains to the shores of the Endless Sea, characters can explore the setting as they see fit but they will find it isn't as welcoming as it appears. There are beasts, monsters of the sea, and predators roaming under the light of the moon. They may seek shelter in whichever district they choose, but it becomes apparent very early on that their fates are tethered to keeping Seraphina alive. . .or so they have been led to believe. Magic always comes with a price and it's just a matter finding what feeds this Curse to return home if they can. It may already be too late. One thing is for sure. Many citizens of Seraphina have an unusual reverence for heroes. The Witching Hour is a plot-driven panfandom game loosely based on Once Upon A Time and famous tales throughout history. Fairytale-lore, with a few elements of horror, will be explored through gameplay. Due to the mature content all players must be 18+.
