they never should have been mods. they can't do anything except degrade.

The same can be said about the entire mod team. They aren't even trying at this point.

Like, they may not be trying in the ways you feel would be most beneficial to the game, and that's fair. they are throwing too much of the wrong solutions at the problem and that's making it worse. But they are clearly still putting a lot of effort in and have responded and opened up a dialog within 24 hours of the issue being brought up. That's not really calling it in.

The mods don't want to go longer than 6 months. The players don't want things paced so fast. That's fair on both sides, and now it's time to find a compromise. Unless both sides compromise it's gonna be a really moot point cause the game will be dead in the water way before 6 months.

Hi Games mods

No, I don't go here anymore, but I know what they're struggling with (and really I'm not working to be very anon here if you wanna play internet detective.) They didn't get left a super easy lot. It doesn't mean they didn't mess up, and shit needs to shift on their end too (which it seems to be moving towards.)

But also acting like they can do nothing right and have given up on the game is really disingenuous. One of y'all anons is very all or nothing here with wanting the mods heads because the pace isn't to their pleasing, and that's no more going to help the game than if the mods just said "That sucks, tag faster." to everyone having concerns about pacing.

Obviously not a great internet detective, but that aside then, who would you like to see mod? You clearly have some candidates in mind, I'm assuming, and not just hoping that someone who's not you but not these mods will put in the work for you.

or if you don't feel comfortable with saying names (which would be a bit weird since this is clearly not a place where retaliation on them would be an issue) what, past "run the game longer" which is a bad idea for multiple reasons, would you have these, or new mods, do to resolve this in the next 6 months or so?

how about anyone who isn't on the current mod team who wants a crack at it? literally anyone.

...who do you think wants to take over a game that's almost done? I sure don't want to, and I don't see a lot of viable candidates laying around. And when the big complaint is not having enough time to participate, I don't know that adding having to take over and mod a dying game is going to fix anything.

It's not like there's an endless supply of mods just waiting in the wings and this mod team is blocking them or something. Running games is a huge pain in the ass, unless you want to give up and just revert to a musebox right now. or close the game. Cause even a musebox needs some modding to stay alive.

as if anyone else understands that. players just want to bitch.
