I'm bad at this

Rundown: [community profile] rpanons is an anonymous community for role-play related topics. This place serves as a forum for game discussions, canon discussions, RP solicitations (ATP, game ads, open memes), and advice. The occasional off topic comment is inevitable, but please keep heated social and political topics to their respective communities. Posting them here will only get them frozen. Subsequent threads made to bypass a freeze will then be deleted.

Rules:

Do not post pornographic or shocking images.
Do not share private entries, plurks, chat logs, etc.
Do not use this community as your social/political/hatespeech soapbox.
Do not be redundant. One page does not need three or more threads on one topic/theme. Your unfunny, forced memes also fall under this rule.
Do not treat this comm like your personal therapist. Threads about nonfictional suicide, self injury, rape, and abuse will be deleted. There are better resources out there for you.
Do not treat this comm like your personal Plurk or Twitter. Off-topic happens, but it should be open for discussion and not just a play-by-play of your life. No one cares.
Shut up about Tumblr. If it's not a discussion about Tumblr RP it will be deleted.

these responses really kind of anger me. i work in retail management in the us, and anything that's remotely contagious i'd rather tell my associates to go home/stay away, considering how much customer/people interaction goes on. unfortunately i'm the only manager in my building that actually has that opinion. my boss (store manager) and the other two assistant managers are adamant that if it's not debilitating/life threatening you should come in all the same. flu-like symptoms? suck it up and go to work. we already had one bout of flu like symptoms go around the store where there was one coordinator calling out every other day or so because you could physically see they were getting sick, but god forbid the associates call out.

i don't want to get sick and i don't want anything to be passed around (as management i'm not allowed to call out even if i needed to). honestly at the end of the day? we'll be fucked if we're short even one person since my store is staffed bare bones literally but i have back up associates and tbqh i don't need people spreading whatever they have among other coworkers and customers alike.
